My Pictorial Diary

As picture tells a thousand words, therefore I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Armed with nothing, but a camera,
Take nothing, but pictures,
Capture nothing, but memories,
Leave nothing, but footprints.

Singapore Waterfront ~ Starbucks 100th Store 2016

We made a special visit to Starbucks’ 100th store in Singapore, located in the historic Fullerton Waterboat House. Opened in 2014, this iconic outlet was housed in a beautifully restored heritage building dating back to 1919, creating a lovely blend of old-world charm and modern coffee culture.

The nautical-inspired setting and historic surroundings made this Starbucks more than just a place for coffee—it felt like a little journey into Singapore’s past. It was wonderful to take a moment to appreciate the architecture, soak in the atmosphere and enjoy the unique character of this memorable landmark.

Sometimes we just need the cup with the little green straw!

After our Starbucks stop, it was time to stretch our legs and enjoy a little stroll along the Singapore River. The riverside was a lovely mix of old and new, with historic landmarks, modern buildings and the gentle flow of the river creating a charming cityscape.
