My Pictorial Diary

As picture tells a thousand words, therefore I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Armed with nothing, but a camera,
Take nothing, but pictures,
Capture nothing, but memories,
Leave nothing, but footprints.

Gardens by the Bay ~ Children's Festival 2017 / Succulent Plants

What an incredible sight at the Children’s Festival! This time, the little ones were taken on an exciting prehistoric adventure, with dinosaurs taking centre stage. From huge, colourful dinosaur displays to fun-filled activities, the whole place was bursting with excitement and imagination.

The children were thrilled to see their favourite dinosaurs come alive in such a fun and interactive setting. There were plenty of opportunities to explore, play, learn and, of course, snap lots of memorable photos. The dinosaur theme added an extra roar of excitement to the festival, making it a wonderful experience for both children and adults.

It was amazing to see the little faces light up with wonder as they discovered the fascinating world of dinosaurs. Definitely a fun-filled day where learning, imagination and adventure came together — WOW, what a dino-mite Children’s Festival! πŸ¦•✨

I simply love succulent plants! With their unique shapes, striking textures and beautiful forms, each succulent seemed to have its own personality. Some were plump and rounded, while others stretched gracefully towards the light, creating a wonderful little world of desert-inspired beauty.

It was amazing to see how these hardy plants can thrive with so little water, yet still look so beautiful. Nature really has its own way of creating art! πŸ“Έ✨

Gardens by the Bay ~ Blossom Bliss 2017

Stepping into a little wonderland of pink and white at Gardens by the Bay Flower Dome! 🌸✨ Seeing the stunning sakura in full bloom was such a beautiful experience, with delicate flowers creating a dreamy Japanese-inspired atmosphere all around us. The soft colours, gorgeous floral displays and peaceful surroundings made every corner feel like a picture-perfect moment.

It was especially magical to see the sakura up close, reminding us that even in sunny Singapore, we can still enjoy a taste of spring in Japan. A truly lovely experience filled with beautiful blooms, happy moments and plenty of photos to remember! πŸŒΈπŸ“Έ

Someone brought along a beautiful Japanese doll for photography, and I was truly delighted when I was given the privilege and permission to snap a few photos of her. She was absolutely gorgeous, dressed so elegantly with every little detail adding to her charm and grace. It felt like such a special opportunity to capture her beauty through my lens. Sometimes, the most unexpected moments turn into the most memorable photographs—and this lovely Japanese doll was certainly one of them.

Gardens by the Bay ~ Local Fruits + Veggies @ California Garden 2017

I was truly amazed by the incredible amount of fruits and vegetables growing at Gardens by the Bay! πŸŒ±πŸ…πŸ† From colourful leafy greens to fresh produce growing all around, it was fascinating to see just how much can be cultivated in such a beautiful garden setting. It was a wonderful reminder that gardening is not just about flowers and greenery—it can also be about growing food, connecting with nature, and discovering where our everyday fruits and vegetables come from. What an impressive and refreshing sight! πŸ“πŸ₯¬πŸŒ½✨

Gardens by the Bay ~ Blossom Bliss [Night Visit] 2017

For the first time, we experienced the enchanting beauty of sakura at night at Gardens by the Bay. 🌸✨ As daylight faded, the delicate cherry blossoms took on a whole new charm, glowing softly under the beautiful lights and creating a magical Japanese-inspired atmosphere. The sight of the pink and white blooms against the darkness was simply mesmerising, almost as if we had been transported to Japan for a little while.

Walking among the illuminated sakura, surrounded by the peaceful evening ambience, made the experience feel extra special. It was so different from seeing the flowers during the day—the lights brought out another kind of beauty and made every corner feel dreamy and romantic. A truly memorable first-time experience of enjoying sakura after sunset, right here in Singapore. πŸŒΈπŸŒ™
