My Pictorial Diary

As picture tells a thousand words, therefore I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Armed with nothing, but a camera,
Take nothing, but pictures,
Capture nothing, but memories,
Leave nothing, but footprints.

Bangkok Trip 2016 Day 4 ~ Chao Praya River / Hotel Shangri-La Bangkok

While exploring Bangkok before we head to the airport, we happened to pass by the famous Hotel Shangri-La Bangkok. Although we did not stay there or spend much time inside, it was still nice to catch a glimpse of this elegant riverside hotel along our journey. The grand entrance and beautiful surroundings gave us a little taste of Bangkok’s luxury hotel scene.

It was only a brief stop as we were passing through, but sometimes these little moments along the way become part of the travel memories we remember most. We took a moment to look around, snap a few photos, and then continued on with our Bangkok adventure.

Taking a morning stroll along the busy Chao Praya River

Nothing beats a good lunch at a nearby Thai stall, especially when you are looking for something simple, satisfying, and full of flavour. The tempting aroma of Thai spices and freshly cooked dishes was enough to work up an appetite.  A delicious lunch, good food, and a happy stomach—what more could we ask for?
