Chijmes 2016

As night fell, we made our way to CHIJMES. The historic buildings looked even more beautiful after dark, with their elegant architecture glowing under the evening lights.

The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful courtyards and colonial-style buildings created a lovely contrast with the lively city surrounding it. The restaurants and cafés added warmth and energy to the place, making it a wonderful spot to stroll around and enjoy the night.

CHIJMES at night has a special charm of its own. With its beautiful lights and timeless architecture, it was a relaxing and memorable stop during our evening outing in Singapore.

Jingle bells, jingle bells! The festive spirit comes alive as we strolled along Orchard Road during the Christmas season. The entire stretch is beautifully decorated with sparkling lights, colourful ornaments and cheerful Christmas displays, turning the famous shopping street into a magical wonderland.

As the evening sets in, the lights shine even brighter against the night sky. The familiar sound of Christmas music fills the air, adding to the joyful atmosphere as shoppers and visitors admire the decorations and snap photos along the way. There is something special about walking down Orchard Road at this time of year—the busy streets suddenly feel full of warmth, excitement and holiday cheer.

Let's start from Orchard MRT Station

But first, we needed dinner before setting off on the long walk along Orchard Road. After a day of hard work, a good meal was definitely in order. Time to sit down, enjoy a hearty dinner, and recharge our energy.
