My Pictorial Diary

As picture tells a thousand words, therefore I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Armed with nothing, but a camera,
Take nothing, but pictures,
Capture nothing, but memories,
Leave nothing, but footprints.

Bollywood Veggies ~ Farm Walk 2016 [Part I]

Time to escape the city and get closer to nature with a visit to Bollywood Veggies! 🌱 We took a walk around the plot and explored this lovely little piece of countryside in Kranji, discovering the many plants, herbs, fruits and vegetables growing around the farm.

It was a refreshing change of scenery — instead of towering buildings and busy roads, we had plenty of greenery, fresh air and the simple sights and sounds of farm life. The walk also gave us a chance to learn more about the different crops and how they are grown.

Sometimes it is nice to slow down and trade the city for a little greenery. Our farm walk was a fun and relaxing experience, and a wonderful reminder that there is a surprisingly peaceful countryside side to Singapore. 🌿💚

When eating a fruit,
Think of the person who planted the tree
Ring the bell? Will the Tiger come for service??

Never judge a banana by its look...these are super good!

Earlier on, those photos were taken around the entrance area of Bollywood Veggies — a little glimpse of what was waiting for us. But now, it was time for the true entry into the farm area! 🌱

Leaving the entrance behind, we ventured deeper into the greenery, where the surroundings became much more rustic and wonderfully peaceful. This was where the real farm experience began, with rows of plants, tropical greenery and plenty of interesting things to discover along the way.

No more just looking from the outside — we were finally heading into the heart of the farm to see what was growing and explore what Bollywood Veggies had to offer. 🌿👣

Let the farm walk begin! 🚜✨
