My Pictorial Diary

As picture tells a thousand words, therefore I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Armed with nothing, but a camera,
Take nothing, but pictures,
Capture nothing, but memories,
Leave nothing, but footprints.

Taiwan Trip 2016 Day 3 ~ Fengjia Night Market @ Taichung ι€’η”²ε€œεΈ‚

Time to mingle with the crowd! πŸ₯³πŸŒ™ After a day of peaceful sights and quiet moments, we were ready for some action at Fengjia Night Market.

The streets were buzzing with people, colourful signs, tempting food stalls and the irresistible smells of all kinds of Taiwanese goodies. There was always something to see, something to taste and plenty of people-watching to do. πŸ˜‹

From a peaceful countryside to a lively night market — what a fun way to end the day! ✨

Life starts when night falls...

Not quite sure why we chose oden for dinner that night! πŸ˜‚ Perhaps after wandering around Fengjia Night Market, we simply felt like having something warm, comforting and easy on the tummy.

Whatever the reason, oden it was! 🍒 A simple dinner, but hey, when you're travelling, sometimes the most random food choices make the funniest memories. πŸ˜‹

Dinner time! Oden...

Taiwan Trip 2016 Day 1 ~ Wufenpu & Raohe Night Market δΊ”εˆ†εŸ” & ι₯’ζ²³θ‘—θ§€ε…‰ε€œεΈ‚

Welcome to Wufenpu, where there seemed to be something to see at every turn! πŸ›️✨

The streets were packed with shops, colourful displays and racks of clothing, making it almost impossible to know where to look first. We wandered from one shop to another, taking in the lively atmosphere and all the bargains waiting to be discovered.

There was simply so much to see and so little time—Wufenpu was definitely a place where you could spend hours browsing without even realizing it! πŸ˜„πŸ›’

As the sun went down, we made our way to Raohe Night Market, where the evening really came alive! πŸŒ™✨

The bustling lanes were filled with tempting aromas, colourful stalls and crowds of people moving from one food stall to another. Of course, we had to do what night markets are best for—eat and shop! πŸ˜‹πŸ›️

There was so much delicious street food to choose from, along with plenty of little shops and stalls to browse. Every few steps brought another temptation, making it almost impossible to walk through without stopping for a bite or two.

Eat, shop, wander and repeat—that was our kind of night in Taipei!

... Fruit cakes! Yummy!

After wandering around and taking in all the sights and smells, we finally settled down for our first dinner at Raohe Night Market! πŸ˜‹πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡Ό

There were so many tempting choices that deciding what to eat was almost as exciting as exploring the market itself. With the lively crowd around us and delicious aromas filling the air, it was the perfect way to begin our Taiwanese food adventure.

First night in Taiwan, first night-market dinner—let the feasting begin! πŸ₯’❤️
