My Pictorial Diary

As picture tells a thousand words, therefore I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Armed with nothing, but a camera,
Take nothing, but pictures,
Capture nothing, but memories,
Leave nothing, but footprints.

Hong Kong Trip 2017 Day 1 ~ Park Royal Hotel @ Shatin

Finally, after a long morning of waiting, we were finally able to check into our hotel! We had arrived in Hong Kong much too early in the morning, long before the usual check-in time. After exploring a little, it felt so good to finally have a room to rest and freshen up. What a relief! We could finally put our bags down, relax for a while, and recharge before continuing our Hong Kong adventure.

Ingenious way of using wine bottles!
Yeah our room! Time to relax, recharge, and get ready for the next adventure! 🏨

Bangkok Trip 2016 Day 1~ Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam

After a long day of travelling, it was finally time to settle into our little “home” for the next few days — Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam. There is always something comforting about arriving at a hotel, dropping our bags, and knowing that this would be our base as we explored Bangkok.

Once we checked in, it was time to get comfortable, recharge, and prepare for the adventures ahead. For the next few days, this room would be where we rested after our walks, sorted through our shopping, planned the next day’s itinerary and, most importantly, recharged our tired feet. A hotel may only be a temporary stop on a holiday, but somehow it becomes part of the travel memories too.
