Our visit to the Malacca Chinese Mosque was a memorable stop during our journey through Malacca. The mosque is quite unique, blending traditional Islamic architecture with Chinese influences, creating a beautiful and distinctive landmark.
As we explored the mosque and its surroundings, we admired the intricate details, graceful design, and peaceful atmosphere. It was fascinating to see how different cultural elements come together so naturally in one place. The visit also gave us a chance to appreciate Malacca’s rich history and multicultural heritage.
It was more than just a sightseeing stop—it was a glimpse into the harmony of different cultures and traditions that make Malacca such a special place to visit. Definitely a memorable experience to add to our Malacca adventure.
Time for a light meal at Locahouz. The cosy little café offered a relaxing place to take a break, but what really caught our attention was the beautiful flower coffee.
The coffee was almost too pretty to drink, with delicate floral touches that made it look more like a piece of art than an ordinary cup of coffee. We were fascinated by the creativity and presentation, and of course, we had to take a few photos before enjoying it.
With a simple light meal, a lovely cup of flower coffee, and a relaxing café atmosphere, it was a delightful little stop during our Melaka adventure.

After our light refreshment, we continued our Melaka adventure and proceeded to the Melaka Straits Mosque. Located beautifully along the coastline, the mosque looked especially impressive against the blue sky and sea.
As we arrived, we took some time to admire its elegant architecture and peaceful surroundings. The mosque seemed to stand gracefully over the water, creating a beautiful and almost magical view. The sea breeze and open surroundings made the visit even more relaxing.
Dressed appropriately, we were then able to enter and explore the mosque respectfully. The colourful traditional costume also made for some fun photo opportunities and added a unique touch to our visit.
It was certainly a memorable experience—another little story to bring home from our Melaka adventure!
We decided to have an early dinner at Wild Coriander, looking forward to a nice meal after a day of exploring Melaka. But just as we were making our way there, the weather suddenly took a dramatic turn.
Heavy rain came pouring down, catching us off guard and leaving us wet through! What started as a simple plan for an early dinner quickly turned into an unexpected little adventure. Soaked and laughing at our misfortune, we finally made our way into Wild Coriander, grateful to escape the rain.
Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to visit Jonker Street Pasar Malam this evening. After the sudden heavy downpour, the rain just wouldn’t let up, leaving us soaked through and putting a damper on our plans.
We had been looking forward to wandering through the lively night market, browsing the stalls, enjoying the street food, and soaking up the evening atmosphere. But sometimes, travel plans simply have to bend to the weather.
Although we missed out on Jonker Street that night, the unexpected rain became another memorable part of our Melaka adventure. Perhaps it was just a good reason to come back another time and finally experience the famous pasar malam!
