My Pictorial Diary

As picture tells a thousand words, therefore I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Armed with nothing, but a camera,
Take nothing, but pictures,
Capture nothing, but memories,
Leave nothing, but footprints.

Jurong Bird Park ~ Saying Goodbye 2022

A visit to Jurong Bird Park before it was relocated — a chance to say goodbye to a place that had been part of Singapore's wildlife experience for so many years. πŸ¦πŸ’š

We spent the day wandering around the park, admiring the colourful birds, exploring the different aviaries and simply enjoying the greenery and peaceful surroundings. There was something special about seeing the birds up close and knowing that this familiar place would eventually become part of Singapore's history.

These photos are more than just pictures of birds. They are little memories of Jurong Bird Park as we knew it, captured before the relocation changed the experience forever.

A nostalgic visit, a few feathered friends and one more treasured memory to keep. πŸ¦œπŸ“Έ❤️

Err...Hello..

The man-made waterfall at Jurong Bird Park holds a rather special little place in my memories. In fact, it was the very first waterfall I had encountered since I was born!

It may be man-made, but there was still something magical about standing there and watching the water cascade down. The sound of the rushing water, the greenery surrounding it and the sheer size of the waterfall made it quite an impressive sight.

Looking back now, it is funny how something so simple can become a lasting memory.

**P.S. It was a really hot day, so instead of walking around the entire bird park, we decided to take the tram ride and enjoy the sights from the comfort of our seats. ☀️

Because we were mostly on the move in the tram, there aren't actually that many photos of the birds. πŸ“ΈπŸ¦œ But that's okay — sometimes it's better to simply sit back, relax and enjoy the experience rather than constantly trying to capture everything with the camera.
